Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Fold wet mixture into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Add remaining batter and swirl with a knife.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool before slicing.
