Description
A healthy twist on traditional Thanksgiving flavors with an Asian-inspired touch.
Ingredients
- 1 lb turkey breast, sliced
- 2 cups bok choy, chopped
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 cup brown rice, cooked
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add ginger and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add turkey breast and cook until browned.
- Stir in bok choy, mushrooms, soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Serve over brown rice.
Notes
- Substitute turkey with tofu for a vegetarian option.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
- Use tamari for a gluten-free version.
