A simple and healthy side dish featuring pearl onions glazed with balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pearl onions, peeled
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss peeled onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread onions on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway.
- Whisk balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl.
- Drizzle glaze over onions and roast for 5 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving.
