Description

A wholesome and delicious dish featuring jumbo pasta shells stuffed with seasoned beef and creamy ricotta, baked in a rich tomato sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef in a pan over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine the ricotta mixture with the cooked beef.
  6. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta filling, then place them in the dish.
  8. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
