Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 cups low-fat milk
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated whole wheat biscuits
- 1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sprinkle flour over the turkey and stir well.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Season with black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Cut biscuits into quarters and place them on top of the turkey mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the biscuits.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
