A flavorful steak marinated in bourbon for a tender and juicy result, perfect for a healthy meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Combine bourbon, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, black pepper, paprika, and salt in a bowl.
- Place steak in a resealable bag and pour marinade over it.
- Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from marinade and grill for 5-6 minutes per side.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure steak reaches 145°F for medium-rare.
- Discard used marinade to avoid contamination.
- Slice against the grain for tender results.
