Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Hard-boil the eggs, cool, and peel them.
- Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
- Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon and caramelize lightly.
- Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the crumbled bacon and grated cheddar.
- Spoon the filling back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
