Description

A delicious and healthy salmon dish with a sweet and spicy Cajun honey butter glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the honey butter mixture evenly over the salmon.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
