Description
A fresh and simple Caprese salad bowl with a healthy twist. Perfect for a light lunch or side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.
- Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry.
- Tear the fresh basil leaves into smaller pieces.
- Combine tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Toss gently and serve immediately.

- Use ripe cherry tomatoes for the best flavor.
- Add a drizzle of honey if you prefer a sweeter taste.
