Ingredients
- 1 pre-made thin-crust pizza dough
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized (about 15 minutes).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add the caramelized onions and sprinkle with oregano.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Slice and serve hot.
