Delicious and healthy turkey meatballs with caramelized onions, perfect for a nutritious meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika


Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, caramelized onions, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
  4. Heat remaining olive oil in the same pan. Cook meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite side or sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
