Description
Healthy carrot cake protein balls are a nutritious snack packed with protein and natural sweetness.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix rolled oats, almond flour, protein powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add grated carrots, almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Fold in raisins if using.
- Form into small balls using your hands.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For a vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
