Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup low-fat milk
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until softened.
- Add the ground beef, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and milk to form a dough.
- Pour the beef mixture into a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough over the beef mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
