Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
