Description
A budget-friendly cheeseburger casserole that’s both healthy and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 cup whole wheat pasta
- 1 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onions and garlic.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cooked pasta with beef mixture.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.

- Use whole wheat pasta for extra fiber.
