A creamy, flavorful dip inspired by cheeseburgers but made healthier with lean ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup reduced-fat cream cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for 3 minutes until softened.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and cheddar cheese until melted.
- Mix in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Serve warm with vegetable sticks or whole-grain crackers.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce.
- Replace beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
