A quick and easy recipe for healthy cheesy chicken crescent rolls that are perfect for a light meal or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup low-fat shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Spoon the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each dough triangle.
- Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Swap Greek yogurt for light cream cheese if preferred.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
