Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 pound sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain.
  3. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from heat.
  4. In a baking dish, layer potatoes and sausage. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  5. Pour milk evenly over the dish. Dot with butter and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot.
