Description
A healthier version of classic scalloped potatoes with cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Layer potato slices in a baking dish.
- Mix milk, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour mixture over potatoes.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Let dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
