A delicious and healthy twist on stuffed bread with chicken, bacon, and ranch flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup light ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1 whole wheat baguette
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the baguette lengthwise and hollow out the center.
  3. Mix chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, cheese, onion, tomatoes, garlic powder, and parsley in a bowl.
  4. Stuff the mixture into the hollowed baguette.
  5. Wrap the stuffed bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Unwrap and bake for 5 more minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Slice and serve warm.
