Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups whole grain bread cubes
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté celery and onion until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked chicken, sautéed vegetables, eggs, sage, thyme, and black pepper.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture and stir gently.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
