Description
A quick and healthy grilled shrimp recipe with a zesty chili lime marinade.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 lime, juiced and zested
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili powder, paprika, lime juice, lime zest, salt, and pepper.
- Toss shrimp in the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
- Sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Use metal or soaked wooden skewers.
- Adjust chili powder for more or less heat.
- Serve with lime wedges for extra zest.
