A quick and healthy Chinese-inspired stir fry with ground beef and cabbage, perfect for a festive Christmas meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes if using.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until flavors combine.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
