Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chopped spinach
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into 1-inch meatballs and place in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over meatballs.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until meatballs are cooked.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use whole wheat breadcrumbs for extra fiber.
- Swap turkey for chicken or plant-based meat if preferred.
- Add bell peppers or zucchini for more veggies.
