Description

A quick and easy one-pan meal with tender chicken, spicy sausage, and creamy pepper jack cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and sausage. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in bell peppers and onion. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  6. Mix in shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Toss in cooked pasta. Stir to combine.
  8. Serve hot.

  • Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
