Description
A crispy and healthy pork schnitzel recipe made in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pound the pork chops to 1/4-inch thickness.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Dip each pork chop in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush the pork chops with olive oil.
- Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with cooking oil.
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness.
- Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.
