Ingredients

  • 200g Irish bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 bay leaf


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Stir in cubed potatoes and shredded cabbage.
  5. Pour in chicken stock and add bay leaf, salt, and pepper.

  7. Remove bay leaf before serving.
