Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, honey, coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Add whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until combined.
  3. Fold in walnuts if using.
  4. Grease the crock pot or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the batter into the crock pot.
  6. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
  7. Check doneness with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it’s ready.
  8. Let cool before slicing.
