Tender steak bites cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a healthy and easy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add steak bites to the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  5. Cook for an additional 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

  • For a thicker sauce, add more cornstarch as needed.
