A simple and healthy slow-cooked BBQ pulled chicken recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (sugar-free)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Mix BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred the chicken with forks and mix with the sauce.
- Serve on buns or over rice.
