Description

A simple and healthy carrot dish made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme


Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the carrots.
  2. Place carrots in the crockpot.
  3. Add vegetable broth, olive oil, honey, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Can substitute honey with maple syrup.
