Description
A simple and healthy carrot dish made in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 4 cups carrots, sliced
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Wash and slice the carrots.
- Place carrots in the crockpot.
- Add vegetable broth, olive oil, honey, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can substitute honey with maple syrup.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
