Description

A simple and healthy crockpot meal packed with protein. This chicken and rice dish is easy to prepare and perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add brown rice, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken with a fork.
  5. Add frozen mixed vegetables and cook for another 30 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.
