Description

A warm and nutritious breakfast bowl made with quinoa, apples, and cinnamon, cooked in a crockpot for an easy morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
  • 2 cups water or almond milk
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Add quinoa, water or almond milk, diced apples, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the crockpot.
  3. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Stir before serving and add toppings if desired.
