Description
A healthy and comforting golden milk latte made with turmeric and other warming spices.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and coconut oil (if using) to the milk. Stir well.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add honey or maple syrup if desired and stir until dissolved.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
