Description
Healthy drumsticks cooked in a crockpot with herbs, lemon, and garlic.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place drumsticks in the crockpot.
- Mix olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Coat drumsticks with the mixture.
- Add lemon slices and chicken broth.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For crispier skin, broil drumsticks for 5 minutes after cooking.
- Adjust salt to taste.
- Use fresh herbs if available.
