A flavorful and healthy turkey breast cooked to perfection in a crockpot with lemon and herbs.
Ingredients
- 1 (3-4 lb) boneless turkey breast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place turkey breast in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the turkey breast, coating it evenly.
- Add chicken broth to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Slice and serve with the cooking juices.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs if available for better flavor.
- Check internal temperature—it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
