A hearty and healthy pumpkin turkey chili made in the crockpot for easy cooking.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the turkey, pumpkin puree, diced tomatoes, black beans, onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the crockpot.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir.
- Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with optional toppings like shredded cheese or avocado.
