Description

A hearty and healthy casserole combining ravioli and meatballs cooked in a crockpot for an easy, delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey (for meatballs)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Mix ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Shape mixture into small meatballs.
  3. Layer half the ravioli in the crockpot.
  4. Add half the meatballs and half the marinara sauce.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  6. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  7. Sprinkle cheeses on top and cook for an additional 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat ravioli for extra fiber.
  • Substitute ground chicken if preferred.
