Description
A hearty and healthy casserole combining ravioli and meatballs cooked in a crockpot for an easy, delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 lb lean ground turkey (for meatballs)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Mix ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
- Shape mixture into small meatballs.
- Layer half the ravioli in the crockpot.
- Add half the meatballs and half the marinara sauce.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Cook on low for 4 hours.
- Sprinkle cheeses on top and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
- Use whole wheat ravioli for extra fiber.
- Substitute ground chicken if preferred.
- Add spinach for more vegetables.
