Description
A warm and comforting spiced apple cider made in a crockpot. Perfect for chilly days, this drink is packed with natural flavors and spices.
Ingredients
- 8 cups apple cider
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 1 tsp whole allspice
- 1/4 cup honey (optional)
Instructions
- Pour apple cider into the crockpot.
- Add cinnamon sticks, orange slices, and apple slices.
- Place cloves and allspice in a small spice bag or cheesecloth and add to the crockpot.
- Stir in honey if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Remove spice bag before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness with more or less honey.
- For a stronger spice flavor, let it simmer longer.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
