Description
A simple and healthy recipe for tender steak bites cooked in a CrockPot.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steak bites with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Transfer steak bites to the CrockPot.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Optional: Mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Serve hot.
