Description

A healthier version of classic Swedish meatballs made in the crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard


Instructions

  1. Mix turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape into small meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs in the crockpot.
  4. Whisk beef broth, Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.
  5. Pour sauce over meatballs.
  6. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  7. Serve hot.
