Description
A healthier version of classic Swedish meatballs made in the crockpot.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Mix turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into small meatballs.
- Place meatballs in the crockpot.
- Whisk beef broth, Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.
- Pour sauce over meatballs.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef if preferred.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
