Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Add dates and almonds to a food processor. Blend until finely chopped.
  2. Add cocoa powder, chia seeds, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Pulse until the mixture sticks together.
  3. If using dark chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 tbsp each).
  5. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
