A delicious fusion of cheeseburger and egg rolls, featuring crispy bacon, melted cheese, and savory garlic butter. A fun twist on classic flavors.
Ingredients
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp garlic butter, melted
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Brush edges with garlic butter.
- Spoon 2 tbsp of filling onto the center of the wrapper.
- Fold bottom corner over filling, then fold sides inward. Roll tightly, sealing the edge with more garlic butter.
- Heat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy pot.
- Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Keep egg roll wrappers covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
- Don’t overfill wrappers to avoid bursting during frying.
- For crispier rolls, double fry at 325°F then 375°F.
