Description

A delicious fusion of cheeseburger and egg rolls, featuring crispy bacon, melted cheese, and savory garlic butter. A fun twist on classic flavors.

Ingredients

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp garlic butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
  4. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Brush edges with garlic butter.
  5. Spoon 2 tbsp of filling onto the center of the wrapper.
  6. Fold bottom corner over filling, then fold sides inward. Roll tightly, sealing the edge with more garlic butter.
  7. Heat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy pot.
  8. Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • Keep egg roll wrappers covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
  • Don’t overfill wrappers to avoid bursting during frying.
  • For crispier rolls, double fry at 325°F then 375°F.
