Description
A hearty and healthy turkey chili mac made in the crockpot for an easy, flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the turkey, macaroni, tomatoes, beans, corn, onion, garlic, and spices to the crockpot.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir well.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- You can use any type of beans you prefer.
- Add cheese or sour cream on top if desired.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
