A refreshing and nutritious carrot salad with a classic touch.
Ingredients
- 4 cups grated carrots
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine grated carrots, raisins, and walnuts.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, and salt.
- Pour the dressing over the carrot mixture and toss well.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
