Description
A simple and healthy Dutch oven bread infused with garlic and herbs for a flavorful homemade loaf.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl.
- Add warm water and olive oil, then stir until a dough forms.
- Knead dough for 5 minutes on a floured surface.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat Dutch oven in a 450°F oven for 30 minutes.
- Shape dough into a round loaf and place in the hot Dutch oven.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Cool before slicing.
