Description
A delicious and healthy burger featuring caramelized onions and Swiss cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until soft.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over onions and stir until caramelized.
- Mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 4 patties.
- Cook patties on a grill or pan for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Top each patty with Swiss cheese and let melt.
- Assemble burgers with caramelized onions on toasted buns.
