Description
A simple and healthy creamy chicken spaghetti made in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 cup low-fat cream cheese
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add cream cheese, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Cook on low for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with a fork.
- Break spaghetti into thirds and add to the crockpot.
- Cook for another hour until spaghetti is tender.
- Stir well and serve.
Notes
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
- Add more broth if the mixture gets too thick.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
