Description

A simple and healthy creamy chicken spaghetti made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1 cup low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add cream cheese, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken with a fork.
  5. Break spaghetti into thirds and add to the crockpot.
  6. Cook for another hour until spaghetti is tender.
  7. Stir well and serve.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
  • Add more broth if the mixture gets too thick.
