Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Layer the diced potatoes, cooked beef, onion, and bell pepper in the crockpot.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the ingredients in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Stir the mixture, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Serve hot.
