Description
A simple and healthy slow-cooked turkey dish with a sweet and tangy maple Dijon glaze.
Ingredients
- 4 turkey thighs (about 2 lbs)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Place turkey thighs in the crockpot.
- Pour the maple Dijon mixture over the turkey, coating evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Remove turkey from crockpot and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
- For extra crispiness, broil the turkey thighs for 2-3 minutes after cooking.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
